just some little 'ironics' i've been pondering on during my social media decluttering process.

not everything, hence the "in progress" part of the post title.

may or may not update down the line.

we'll see.

As of Dec 2020

  • listening to a book about digital minimalism on my smart phone

  • reading an article about someone's experience with not using a smartphone, but looking to the top right, i see icons for social media accounts

  • talking about my conflict with mindlessly consuming content on social media while creating and posting content for social media for other people to potentially mindlessly consume

  • wanting to use digital tech less and share with others why i want to do this, while writing and publishing posts on a blog about my experience

  • how 'social' media doesn't encourage real social skills and actions

  • talking about life without social media on social media platforms

  • digital tech being a 'tool', that a lot of people misuse (i.e. not using it as a tool at all, instead as escapism, entertainment etc) (i am not immune to this)
